Beyond Batteries: Technologies, Applications

What does the path ahead portend for non-battery technologies and advancements, what do they need to deploy, what unique services and attributes do they offer, and where do they create business on the path to 35 GW by 2025?  This session will look at existing and planned projects using flywheels, the world’s first underwater Advanced Compressed Air Energy Storage (A-CAES) project in Canada, a thermal energy storage system in operation at the Moakley Federal Courthouse in Boston, and the potential for hydrogen electrolysis solutions.
