E’Lon Hall joins Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy as the new Operations Manager. In this new position, E’Lon assists the WRISE team with program and volunteer management, fundraising, events and administrative tasks. Prior to joining WRISE, E’Lon began her career in the renewable energy industry working as a Project Coordinator for the start up OwnEnergy. She supported Own’s development team, local partners and overhauled the management of the company’s land management system. In 2015, OwnEnergy was acquired by EDF Renewable Energy and E’Lon became an Associate Project Developer. In this role, she worked closely with landowners, local partners and local community members to assist in the development of several wind farms across the U.S. E’Lon spent a considerable amount of her early career working for several non-profit organizations including Fordham Bedford Children’s Services and Communication for Social Change Consortium and serving underserved populations and communities. E’Lon is a Bronx, NY native and lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of Greater New York.

E’Lon has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Washington and Lee University and a Master’s degree in Urban Studies from CUNY Queens College.
