Mark MacCracken


Mark M. MacCracken is the CEO of CALMAC, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of thermal energy storage equipment, with over 4,000 installations in 60 countries. In his 40 years with CALMAC he has assisted in designing hundreds of ice storage systems globally including recent New York City installations for Rockefeller Center, Google, Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs.

He was Principal Investigator on research projects with Oak Ridge National Labs, NASA and National Renewable Energy Research Lab (SERI).  A Professional Engineer and LEED® Fellow, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and three U.S. Patents
