Mark J. Riedy is a Partner at Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP in Washington, DC and co-leads its Energy, Project Finance & Clean Technologies Practice of more than 80 attorneys. For more than 40 years, he has focused his practice on complex project development and finance, private placement, M&A, investment fund structuring and related investments, as well as regulatory and legislative compliance representation across more than 60 countries worldwide for renewable and conventional energy and chemicals, clean energy technology, energy storage, data center, environmental and infrastructure clients. His clients represent developers, bondholders, lenders, EPCs, O&Ms, equipment providers, private equity, venture capital and infrastructure funds.

Mark has received numerous awards over his career including the “2018 Special Award for Successful Biojet Financings” from the Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative and “Top 50 World Bioeconomy Leaders Award” (since 2011) from Biofuels Digest. Furthermore, Mark is one of the five founders of the American Council On Renewable Energy (ACORE) as well as General Counsel of ACORE (since 2001), Global Solar Council (since 2017), and National Tribal Energy Association (since 2017).

Mr. Riedy received his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa cum laude from the University of Michigan with a B.A.
