Nina Peluso

Nina Peluso leads the Electric System and Economic Modeling team at Synapse Energy Economics. Her recent work includes electricity systems modeling in the ISO-NE, NYISO, WECC, MISO, and national footprints. Nina also supports energy efficiency program administrators in the ISO-NE capacity market and consults on integrated resource planning, strategic electrification, and policy development. Prior to Synapse, Nina served as a research assistant on ICF’s wholesale power markets team, an intern on DTE Energy’s Policy, Strategy & Advocacy team, and a research assistant for the Social Science Data Analysis Network.

Nina holds a Bachelors of Arts in Public Policy from the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, where she focused in energy systems policy.
